For 20 years Johnson Matthey Pharmaceutical Materials - Ireland (formerly Cascade Biochem, Ltd.) has been a leader in the development, commercial cGMP manufacture and supply of prostaglandins and related complex, high potency molecules for the pharmaceutical industry.

Located in Cork, Ireland, our purpose built, high containment manufacturing facility has been successfully inspected by the US FDA and the Irish Medicines Board (IMB), the latter leading to cGMP certification.

Our track record for commercial supply of these complex high potency compounds is exemplary. Close cooperation with our clients ensures that products are available on time for biostudies, for launch and throughout their commercial life.

A comprehensive range of technical support services and regulatory documentation is provided to clients for the API to ease dosage form development and registration. A comprehensive programme maintains Drug Master Files or equivalents in all the major international markets.

Our unique manufacturing technology is at the heart of we do. We develop non-infringing routes to the products we manufacture, underpinned by our own family of process Patents.

We also offer chemical process development and custom manufacturing for prostaglandin and related complex high value molecules required for toxicology / clinical investigations, formulation development and drug product manufacture.
